Assisted Suicide, also called Voluntary Euthanasia, is currently a contentious issue in many countries. The question in the debate is this: if a terminally ill person decides that they wish to end their life, is it acceptable for others to assist them? This would normally take the form of a doctor administering a lethal injection, which would end their life painlessly. A clear distinction must be made with involuntary euthanasia, by which someone is ‘put down’ against their wishes, and which is simply murder by another name.
On the surface, cochlear implants sound like a promising medical solution to the problems surrounding hearing loss or total deafness. A cochlear implant uses existing nerves and electronic signals to override damaged auditory nerves, thus restoring a sense of hearing to the recipient. However, this technology has also caused serious divisions within the deaf community concerning the hearing society’s position on deafness in general….source
For years the discovery of Cochlear Implant has torn the deaf community into 2 and it’s still ongoing. So why are the majority of deaf people so against the use of cochlear implant? Do you think CI can be classified as similar to wearing hearing aid except that you need surgery for it?
What is so bad about having surgery to implant it ? The risk of the surgery is very minimal, the greater risk carried is when you leave your front door!………Do you think deaf people have the right to choose?
Why is it that more and more deaf adult, from around the world have gone ahead and had it done?

Interesting facts: The legalization for marijuana might eventually save the planet. If we use hemp to make items such as paper, biodegradable plastic, textiles, construction, health food, fuel, and clothes, not only will prices go down, we can save the trees! Did you know that the constitution is made of hemp? It’s true! In the past 3 years, hemp food has been commercially successful. Hemp is one of the fastest growing biomasses known. It grows very fast, which is convenient because trees take longer to grow.
Their argument: Marijuana is less dangerous than alcohol, meth, cocaine, and other similar drugs. In fact, it is one of the healthiest drugs to be eaten. Not to mention it’s great for recreational use!

Some people say that penalty is legalised murder because it is like “an eye for an eye”. The difference between punishment and the crime is that one is legalised and the other is not! People are more brutalised by what they see on T.V. daily. People are not brutalised by punishments they are brutalised by our failure to serious punish, the brutal acts.
The arguments I have found often stated that, “If someone can find it in them to take the life of an innocent person then they hardly deserve life themselves.”

There is now an increasingly tolerant attitude towards homosexuality in society, especially in the West. However, the treatment of homosexuals differ from one country to another. In some nations, homosexuality is illegal whilst in others, homosexuals are now accorded an increasing catalogue of rights that have been enjoyed by heterosexuals all along. In the UK for instance, by virtue of a ruling of the European Court of Human Rights.
